Eric J. Malm
Research Assistant Professor
From September 2010 through August 2013, I was a Research Assistant Professor at the Simons Center for Geometry and Physics at Stony Brook University. I completed my Ph.D. at the Stanford Mathematics Department under the supervision of Ralph Cohen. My interests lie in algebraic topology, homological algebra, and category theory.
Research and Papers
My academic research has focused on relating the algebraic structures of string topology to the Hochschild homology and cohomology of based loop spaces.
I also have interests in related fields, including topological field theories and higher category theory. For older research projects, please view my research webpage.
